Sales Executive – George Lines Horsham
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join us at our Horsham branch. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, driving sales, and ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner. It is essential that you have experience selling building materials for this position but there more to it than that – you will need to be a team player who wants to get involved in all aspects of the branch.
You will be a crucial part of a small team and you will have the opportunity to cover transport planning, stock management and warehouse/yard organisation as part of your role.
The successful candidate will be results driven and business focused with strong communication and negotiation skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service. You will have two years’ minimum background in the construction supply or building materials sector, ideally with experience in civils and groundworks. The ability to drive a forklift is an advantage.
Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri

Requirements
- Sales experience and the ability to achieve results and hit targets
- Experience in the Builders Merchants industry, ideally with a knowledge of civils

Forklift/Van Driver – George Lines Horsham - Website
This is a great opportunity to join us at our Horsham branch as a Forklift/Van Driver. This role is a crucial part of our business – picking loads, loading and unloading our vehicles and those of our customers and suppliers. You will be keeping the yard clean and tidy and maintaining a high standard of presentation and stock rotation. You will also be expected to report any health and safety issues, and to check and defect plant and machinery daily.
It is a varied role as you will also be making deliveries in a 3.5t vehicle – for this reason a full, clean driving licence is essential.
If you have a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy being part of a team and giving great customer service, we want to hear from you! Ideally, you will have experience of working in a builder’s merchant environment.
