A 160mm PVC slip coupling from the Brett Martin range. Unlike a standard coupling, a slip coupling allows some axial movement, useful for accommodating expansion or making a repair into an existing pipe run.
Part of the Brett Martin underground drainage system, manufactured in the UK to BS EN 1401 / BS EN 13476-2. The system uses a captive seal within fittings and a lip seal within single socket pipe, designed to secure against dislodgement and keep joints leak free.
